Uniqlo, the trendy Japanese clothing retailer that recently opened its first Hawaii location at Ala Moana Center as a temporary, pop-up store, has set an opening date for its a permanent shop at the state’s largest shopping center, and is keeping its temporary store and making that one a permanent store.
Store employees told Shimogawa Scoops that the new, permanent store, which will be located adjacent to Zara, is scheduled to open on September 28. As expected, the pop-up Uniqlo has exceeded expectations and thus has led to the popular brands permanent roots being planted in the Islands. Uniqlo’s pop-up store also is staying open on a permanent basis.
