Avalon Group LLC has created a new project sales team who is in charge of sales at its two upcoming Honolulu condominium projects – Hale Ka Lae at 7000 Hawaii Kai Drive in East Oahu and Sky Ala Moana along Kapiolani Boulevard across Ala Moana Center.
The pre-registration process has begun for Hale Ka Lae, while the sales process for Sky Ala Moana is expected to start soon.
Mark Berkowitz has been named Project Sales Manager, leading a newly-formed team of highly-experienced real estate professionals, including Rosalei Chinen, Marcel Chan, June Freundschuh, Laurie Oh and Jane Lee.
Tim Lee, managing director of retail and international investor group at Avalon Commercial LLC, will lead the hotel and commercial sales. Lee has more than a decade of experience in real estate, having helped many foreign investors successfully navigate the state’s real estate environment.
Berkowitz, comes with decades of real estate sales experience, including heading the sales team at a few successfully sold out high-rise projects such as The Collection Honolulu, and as part of the sales team at the Waihonua at Kewalo condominium project.
About Hale Ka Lae at 7000 Hawaii Kai Drive
Hale Ka Lae at 7000 Hawaii Kai Drive, a new for-sale condominium consisting of 213 units in East Oahu, is the culmination of a condo-conversion project that began as one of Hawaii’s newest rental apartment communities. Following the condo-conversion, there will be 213 units for sale and 56 units that will remain as affordable rental units, known as Hale Manu. Hale Ka Lae also includes several amenities including a resort-style pool and hot tub, a fitness center, a club room, a movie room, a dog wash area and dog park, a great lawn area with cabanas covering outdoor dining areas and a playground.

Sky Ala Moana is a special transit-oriented development project that will add much-needed housing and economic activity to the burgeoning Ala Moana area in Honolulu. Plans for Sky Ala Moana include 390 market-rate condominiums, 300 condo-hotel units and 84 affordable for-sale residences, along with about 17,500-square-feet of commercial space located along Kapiolani Boulevard across from Ala Moana Center, the state’s largest shopping center. The project received final approval from the Honolulu City Council in November 2018.
