"Jurassic World 2," one of the most prominent movie franchises to shoot scenes in Hawaii, is scheduled to film key scenes next month in the Heeia Pier area in Windward Oahu, according to public documents. At last month's Kahaluu and Kaneohe Neighborhood Board meetings, officials with the Hawaii Film Office and the Honolulu Film Office gave an update about how they plan to deal with possible traffic issues that the film may cause. The "Advance Leeward Outpatient Healthcare Access" center or ALOHA project had been stuck in the middle of several other similar projects across the country. It would've been about twice the size of the Spark M. Matsunaga

One of the contracts involves purchasing one of the parcels for $10 million. This deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter, the trust said. Park Hotels also has an option to buy two more parcels, owned by a different seller, for $15 million. The trust said the contracts required a total deposit of less than $1 million, and that the initial option period on the second contract is one year and may be extended for up to four more years.
